Frequently Asked Questions
Who can reserve meeting spaces? Are meeting rooms only for university events?
Event spaces at the Walton Conference Hub are available to organizations of all types. In addition to our university clients, many external organizations take advantage of our great facilities and support staff.
Where is the nearest parking lot?
Metered parking is conveniently located in the Harmon Parking Garage directly across the street. View current parking rates.

What are the directions to the Walton Conference Hub?
We are located in the Donald W. Reynold’s Center for Enterprise Development at 145 N. Buchanan Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701. For more detailed directions, please refer to http://conferencehub.uark.edu/files/directions-to-rced.pdf.
Is there an exclusive caterer for the Walton Conference Hub?
No. Use any caterer you wish.
There are dozens of outstanding caterering providers within minutes of our facilities.
What are the hours of operation for the Walton Conference Hub?
Our regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Meetings and events may be scheduled outside business hours on nights and weekends with advance confirmation.
What is the Walton Conference Hub cancellation policy?
Please notify the Walton Conference Hub as soon as possible if there is a cancellation. If the reservation is canceled more than 48 hours prior to the event, there is no penalty. If reservation is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled event, there will be a penalty of 50% of the room cost.
What is included in the room rental?
Each meeting and event room is equipped with:
- PC laptop or desktop
- LCD projector
- White table linens
- Free WiFi
- Microphones (provided in the large meeting rooms only)
- Onsite event/AV coordinator
What is the inclement weather policy?
In the event of inclement weather, Walton Conference Hub staff will make decisions about conference operations in a manner that best addresses the safety and convenience of clients and attendees. If the University is closed due to inclement weather, Walton Conference Hub facilities will be closed and clients will be notified. Clients are responsible for notifying participants. If the University remains open but conditions warrant, Walton Conference Hub may delay opening, close early or close operations entirely.
